The Society also supports the West Creston Fire Protection Society in their efforts to combat wildfires in our community, and list their emergency call-out number here for your convenience. The 24-hour community fire phone and call-out system 402-9779 gathers accurate directions from the reporting caller and quickly contacts the volunteer firefighters. The West Creston Fire Protection Society needs a few new volunteers ASAP to help fight wildfires this fire season. If you are interested in the safety of your community and can donate some time to attend fire practices, please contact Jim at 428-8841. (posted May 5/08)
