This is where we will outline the upcoming or ongoing community events at the West Creston Community Hall. We will keep them brief and updated, but give you enough details to attend or know who to contact for more information.

  • Water Bottling Plant / RDCK Meeting at the Hall: A review of the "Authorities" and the "Processes" involved over the approval of the WATER BOTTLING PLANT at Spetifore's and the "impact on the Community". Ministry of Agriculture and Ministry of Transportation representatives will also be in attendance. This is your "LAST CHANCE" to be heard.

    • Wednesday, May 14th.
    • Time - 1:00 pm.
    • Agenda - see the attached NOTICE which was posted May 10th at your local mail boxes and notice boards.

  • Grad Pot Luck Supper: Come out and celebrate with this year's West Creston grads. Bring your favourite pot luck dish to share and enjoy a meal with other Community residents.

    • Wednesday, June 4th.
    • Time - 6:00 pm.
    • This event is open to everyone.

  • 4th Annual Community Garage Sale: Start setting aside all your garage sale items and donate them to this annual fundraising event at the Community Hall. All proceeds go to your West Creston Fire Protection Society.

    • Saturday, June 14th.
    • Time - 9:00 am to 1:00 pm.
    • Drop-off - Friday evening between 5 & 8 pm.

  • Beginner Yoga classes: Yoga anyone...........classes started on Monday, January 14th and are continuing on a weekly basis. One of our members, Brenda Bruns, is the instructor for the class, and it is open to both men and women. If you need more information, please contact Cathy at 402-6576. Here are some of the details:

    • Monday evenings, 7 to 9 pm.
    • Cost: $4.00 drop-in fee.
    • Bring a yoga/exercise mat and a small blanket that can be rolled up to use as a support.
    • Wear loose, comfortable clothing and bring a sweater/sweatshirt to put on if needed.
    • Bring a pen & pad for taking notes, if desired.
    • Do not eat a big meal prior to the session - a light snack is suggested.

    Note: For those who can not make it on Monday nights, there is a second session on Tuesdays from 5:30 to 7:30 pm. This will be a repeat of Monday night's class.
