The 2011 Christmas Tea & Bake Sale was held on December 3rd at the West Creston Community Hall. The Tea was very well attended and the Sale offered a large variety of baked goods, from pies to squares to fresh-baked buns.
We do appreciate the support of the community and hope that you all enjoyed the event, a traditional country Christmas Tea.
"Thank you" to all of the residents who generously donated baked goods for the lunch and for the Sale, and to the volunteers of the West Creston Fire Protection Society who once again handled the serving and assisted in food preparation.
A special "thank you" to Marge Kennedy for all her time and efforts in organizing and managing the event. Job well done!
In addition to the Tea & Bake Sale, there were a few local vendors with their products for sale. There was a selection of very unique handicrafts and other articles, and many people took advantage of the offering to buy gifts for Christmas.
