The 2011 Appy Night Social was held on December 17th at the West Creston Community Hall.
The evening started off with the sharing of appetizers, just about every kind one can imagine! More people than expected, so additional tables and chairs were set-up to accomodate them. A glass of wine or a cup of coffee with appetizers, and a good visit with friends and neighbours.
The evening was a very festive event with local groups of musicians providing some entertainment. Christmas corals were sang and played by Kalen Huscroft on the keyboard and her violinists, and Hans & Laura on their tubas. A great bit of entertainment.
We do appreciate the support of the community and hope that you all enjoyed the event, which now will become an annual event.
"Thank you" to all of the residents who shared your prized appetizers and making this a cheerful event. Also a special "thank you" to Maura Schadelli for all her time and efforts in organizing the event. Job well done!
